“People living deeply have no fear of death.”
— Anais Nin
Sitting here,
with fear so intense,
it’s clear,
Challenging,
it waits for me to steer,
My heart,
though open,
faces what’s ingrained,
Reassuring,
a deep-heart connection, sustained.
No one escapes this life,
we can’t deny,
We’re all alone,
yet together,
you and I,
In need of care,
our well-being to embrace,
I offer compassion,
understanding’s grace.
But fear,
it lingers,
must be faced in your own way,
In time,
its grip will slowly fade away.
