Sometimes we
have to slow down
to catch up with ourselves.

Allow the fruit
of our fright
to unwind in
the disquiet of
surprise. Divine
truths quarantined
far beyond the
mine of our minds.

Allow the fears
and fiends of
our own design
that divide us
from ourselves
to bind us in a
human kindness –
undenied.

Sometimes we
have to slow down to catch up
with ourselves.

This is our time.
